Photojournalism Assignment
1. Find three photos that you find especially powerful.
2. Explain what kind of planning and research the photographer had to ask to get the photos they took?
They had to research what they were going to cover, if it would be a good event for a shoot.
They probably had to ask people attending the event what they were doing there.
3. Under the section on "Planning," what does the writer suggest doing to capture emotional images?
To get involved and ask people what they are protesting, fighting, etc at the event.
4. Under the section on "Composition," what does the writer suggest doing to help you "pick a face out of the crowd?"
the writer says to not take too many photos of the back of peoples heads, it lack emotion and to capture a good photo you should catch at least one persons face and have it framed in any way you can.
5. What is a photo essay?
A collection of images that capture with a progression of events, emotions, and concepts.
6. Summarize the 5 tips the writer provides.

Where: The akins theater
Why (why will the event happen?): The orchestra is preparing for the biggest competition this year.
How (how will the event happen?): They will be playing the pieces they have put together a perform it for an audience before they play it in front of judges.
